Three circuits. One exact number. Many ways to break the run open.

Rift 21 combines familiar twenty-one arithmetic with route planning, build-defining Charms, card Imprints, and a deliberately scarce run economy.

Rift 21

Blackjack arithmetic becomes a routing problem.

Cards do more than increase a hand. The circuit they enter changes their value, risk, or reward, forcing the player to read several possible futures at once.

Exact 21s create the strongest moments, but the run is shaped by scarce currency, Charm combinations, permanent card Imprints, and decisions about when to preserve or spend power.

The planned run loop

01

Route

Choose which circuit receives the next card and rule change.

02

Hit 21

Convert exact totals into stronger rewards and momentum.

03

Build

Combine illustrated Charms and card Imprints into a coherent run strategy.

04

Invest

Use scarce run currency without flattening the difficulty curve.

The current design pillars.

Route cards through three rule-changing circuits, build Charms, and turn exact 21s into run-defining payouts.

01

Familiar entry

Twenty-one gives the player a rule they can recognize immediately.

02

Layered decisions

Circuits, Charms, Imprints, and economy create meaningful routes.

03

Tactile collecting

Booster sleeves and illustrated powers make rewards feel physical and distinct.

Status

What development means here.

The mechanic and progression model are being converted from POC decisions into an MVP architecture. Names, balance, final art, platforms, and release timing remain subject to production validation.
