Publishing with G4F

A publishing partner for focused independent games.

We work with teams that already have a playable game and a clear idea of what makes it worth playing. Support is shaped around the project, from positioning and store presentation to release coordination and post-launch work.

How we can help

The exact scope depends on the game and team. These are the areas G4F Studios can support directly or coordinate with trusted specialists.

Game review & positioning

Play the build, understand the audience, and sharpen how the game is explained without changing what makes it distinctive.

Brand & store presentation

Develop the identity, icon, screenshots, trailer direction, store copy, and onboarding players see first.

Release coordination

Prepare platform requirements, builds, testing, compliance, launch materials, and a realistic release plan.

Post-launch support

Review performance, organize player feedback, plan updates, and keep monetization and communication responsible.

How a publishing conversation works.

01

Review the game

We start with the build, current status, team, audience, and the support being requested.

02

Discuss the opportunity

When there may be a fit, we talk directly about scope, responsibilities, schedule, and commercial expectations.

03

Agree on a plan

Any partnership is defined in writing, including deliverables, ownership, approvals, costs, revenue, and exit terms.

04

Work together

The team and publisher coordinate development, presentation, release, and support against the agreed plan.

Usually a good fit

  • A playable build with a clear core experience
  • A team that can explain its current status and goals
  • A realistic scope and willingness to share production information
  • A specific need for publishing, release, or post-launch support

Not ready for review yet

  • Only an idea, deck, or concept with no playable build
  • No clear ownership of the code, art, music, or submitted materials
  • A schedule or budget that depends on unconfirmed assumptions
  • No agreement inside the team about roles, rights, or next steps

Publishing questions

Do you only publish games developed by G4F?

No. G4F Studios develops original titles and also reviews selected games from independent teams.

Which platforms do you support?

Mobile and web are current areas of experience. Other platforms are considered project by project based on the game, team, schedule, and release requirements.

When should a team contact G4F?

A playable build is the best starting point. The game does not need to be finished, but the central interaction and intended audience should be clear.

Does submitting a game guarantee funding or publishing?

No. A partnership is offered only after product, commercial, operational, and legal review and a separate written agreement.

What should a pitch include?

Include a build or gameplay video, a short overview, current status, team, target platforms, timeline, available metrics, and the support you are seeking.

Send the game, the context, and the ask.

A playable build and a concise explanation are the best way to begin.
